XONITEK is pleased to announce the launch of its collaborative website dedicated to Operational Excellence (Lean, Six-Sigma and Leadership) – where you the user can actively participate in relevant topics of discussion.

The collaborative website is hosted on Collective-X and there is no cost to join either the Operational Excellence Community or the Collective-X.  You do have to have a “profile” on Collective-X to actively participate (post topics and articles and add your own comments), but this is a very easy process.

In addition to posting articles from the web for comment under “Headlines and Links”, there is an “Events Calendar” where you can post up-coming events relevant to the field of Operational Excellence.

The “Discussions” page includes the following headings where you can post “Topics” for collaboration.  The Discussions available for posting are;

1) Operational Excellence; Our primary discussion, intended to be the main collaborative forum for the exchange of ideas related to Operational Excellence - a cross-disciplinary approach to achieving greatness by embracing Lean / Six-Sigma and Leadership.

2) Lean; dedicated to the pursuit of velocity and through-put.

 

3) Six-Sigma; dedicated to the pursuit of measured perfection.

 

4) Leadership; devoted to the exploration of leadership techniques and experiences.

 

5) Design for Six-Sigma; dedicated to the disciplined and controlled methods of developing products and systems by collaborating cross-departmentally and across the value-chain.

 

6) “Blue Ocean Strategy”; based on the book "Blue Ocean Strategy" by Renee Mauborgne & W Chan Kim, and is dedicated to "Demand Creation" and listening to the "voice of the non-customer".

 

7) Value Chain Management; dedicated to all aspects of the "value chain", from supply to fulfillment.

 

8)  OpEx “Technology”; dedicated to the all manner of technology used in the pursuit of Operational Excellence.

 

9) Business Tactics; dedicated to general tactical business matters, but do not fall into one of the other discussions.

 

Business Opportunity; dedicated for members who wish to alert other members of opportunity. You may identify offered services, services needed, opportunities for partnering on projects, and "tips".

 

Open Q&A Forum; dedicated to members posting general questions, requests, and responses.

 

Suggestion Box; How might we make this group better; easier to use, more valuable to you, more powerful, etc... Let Us Know..!

Whilst we want the Operational Excellence Community to be collaborative – dedicated to the free sharing of ideas and a place to seek and offer guidance and opportunity, we don’t want it to be a free-for-all or to turn into a “Craig’s List”.  As such, XONITEK reserves full editorial rights to ensure that the content is relevant to the members, and to the intent, of the community.
